Starlet debuts feature film

The Hollywood hills are a long way from home for one Louisiana starlet making her way on to the big screen, but the transition has been quite successful.

Ferriday native Christy Oldham recently starred in "Barracuda," a feature-length film which she also wrote and produced, with Shane Woodson directing.

The film made its premier screening at the 2011 Burbank International Film Festival and has been featured at the Flint Film Festival in Michigan and the New Orleans Film Festival.
