Burgess to lead homecoming, harvest services at CUMC

The Crowville United Methodist Church will observe its annual Homecoming and Harvest Day on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, at 10:30 a.m.

Former pastor Bob Burgess will be the guest speaker. He is the past District Superintendent of the Monroe District for the United Methodist Church.

Presently he is serving as the senior associate pastor at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Monroe.

The Arkansas native received his undergraduate degree at ULM in Monroe and his graduate degree from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky.

In 1999 he received an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Centenary College in Shreveport.
