Early voting opens Saturday

Early voting for the Nov. 19 general election and the run-off election for two police jury seats will begin Saturday, Nov. 5, and run until next Saturday, Nov. 12, at the Franklin Parish Courthouse.
Running in the election are Buddy Parks and Adam Faulk for District 2 and Leroy Scott and Ricky Shaw for District 5.

"We are hoping for a good turnout in this election. People should remember that we will be closed on Friday, Nov. 11, for Veterans Day," said Franklin Parish Registrar of Voters Geneva Cupp.
