by Tom Bonnette - posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
While voters recently decided to return most police jurors to their posts, two seats remain to be contested in the Nov. 19 run-off elections.

Incumbent Police Juror Buddy Parks of District 2, must face Adam Faulk. Incumbent Leroy Scott of District 5 is running against Ricky Shaw to remain on the police jury.

In the Oct. 22 primary election, Parks received about 43 percent of the ballot, or 449 votes, and Faulk got 40 percent, or 422 votes. The other candidate in the race, Bill Hendrix, got 17 percent of ballots cast, or 177 votes.
