Patriots vie for district championship

The Franklin Parish Patriots (6-2) continued their four-game winning streak Friday with a 36-6 victory over Delhi Charter.

Despite a huge time-of-possession advantage of 29 minutes to Franklin's 19, the Gators were unable to capitalize on some great drives on their home turf.

"Delhi Charter had a very good game plan and kept our offense off the field in the first half," said FPHS coach Berry Sebren.
