Cain delivers diversity as non-politican

Regardless whether or not you are a fan if the former pizza mogul, it's been fascinating to watch Herman Cain's surge in the polls in the Republican presidential primary contest over the last few weeks.

A recent Rasmussen poll has Cain neck-in-neck with Republican establishment sweetheart Mitt Romney for the Republican nomination. Even more surprising is that another poll from Rasmussen has him beating President Obama, 43 percent to 41 percent, if the presidential election were held today.

There are a few reasons I'm starting to like Cain, including the sheer entertainment value he would bring if he were to win the nomination.

Cain, with his everyman vernacular could almost be called the anti-Obama.
