Edwin Edwards to visit Winnsboro
Former Governor Edwin Edwards will be in Winnsboro Sunday to sign copies of his authorized biography, "Edwin Edwards: Governor of Louisiana," by Leo Honeycutt. Every Occasion in historic downtown will sponsor the book-signing,
Sept. 25 from 4-6 p.m. at the Old Post Office Museum.
Released in 2009, the biography detailing Edwards' life and political career as a four-term governor garnered the Louisiana Literary Award this year. Selected by Edwards' himself to pen the story of his career and later conviction,
