Voter registration ends today
Those not yet registered to vote have until 4:30 p.m. today, Sept. 21, to sign up to cast ballots in the Oct. 22 statewide and local primary elections.
Voter registration forms are available at the Registrar of Voters Office at the Franklin Parish Courthouse, 6550 Main St., Winnsboro.
"Voter registrations can also be mailed in and those forms can be picked up here.
The only problem is that it will take longer to become a voter with a mail-in form," said Franklin Parish Registrar of Voters Geneva Cupp.
