Fire extinguisher discharges on bus

Franklin Parish High School football players and an assistant coach and were taken to the hospital after a fire extinguisher discharged on a bus while the team was returning from a football game, according to the Franklin Parish Sheriff's Office.

Authorities report that no one was seriously hurt in the accident, which happened about 10 p.m. on Sept. 9 on La. Hwy 17, a few miles north of Crowville.
