Deputies nab suspect twice

A Wisner man is in custody after escaping from deputies Thursday while be transported to the detention center, according to the Franklin Parish Sheriff's Office.

Frank Stewart Jr., 35, 9770 Natchez St., Wisner, was apprehended after he ran away while being led from the Franklin Parish Courthouse to a patrol car, said Franklin Parish Chief Deputy Kevin Cobb.
