Monster 'gator caught in Franklin Parish

If the alligator that was recently pulled from the Boeuf River is any indication, the producers of the History Channel's "Swamp People," might want to start filming in Franklin Parish.

The 650 pound, 11 and a-half-foot monster was caught in Liddieville on land owned by Randy Hudson of Lake Charles. Hudson was helped by locals, Joel Hatton; his son, Jeff Hatton; brother, Zac Hatton and friend, Deshay Erskin. The 'gator was caught near the L.R. Hatten Landing.
