Wildcats make comeback

Semi-Pro football is officially coming back to Winnsboro. T

he Louisiana Wildcats plan to take the field soon and turn back the clock in Franklin Parish.

The Wildcats played for decades at Winnsboro Stadium before folding in 2005.

The Louisiana Patriots played at Franklin Parish High School's Patriots Stadium from 2010-2011 where the team won a league championship and head coach Gary Crawford, who will coach the Wildcats, won coach of the year honors in 2010.
