Cougars to host Briarfield

Franklin Academy looks to get into the win column in District 2A South as the Cougars host Briarfield Friday.

After defeating NE Baptist in its opener, the Cougars fell to Sharkey-Issaquena in their district opener two weeks ago.

"This is a game we really need to step up and win," said Franklin coach Doyle Hassell.
Briarfield fell to Sharkey-Issaquena 54-22 Friday.
