For much of the game last Friday, the Delhi Charter School Gators were in control. In the final minutes, Loyola Prep ignited their offense to pull out a 29-18 win.

DCS (0-1) will have plenty to review and improve upon leading to their game this Friday at Vidalia.

The Gators committed 14 penalties for 112 yards and committed three turnovers. the final turnover, a fumble by quarterback WIll Zeigler, was returned 19-yards by Clayton Dickson to seal the win for the Flyers.

"Turnovers and penalties hurt us," DCS head coach Bret Raley said. "We had two interceptions but that is not who we are. We are a running team. Will does a good job with what we ask him to do which is run the offense. He did a very good job. They brought pressure and he was able to sometimes make something out of nothing."
