Karen Welch-Smith and Tommy Smith, both of Winnsboro, announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Brittany Danielle Welch, to Gregory Paul Givens, son of Mary Beth and Greg Givens of Winnsboro.

The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Martha Welch and the late Ben David Welch of Winnsboro.

She is a 2006 graduate of Franklin Parish High School and is currently employed by Progressive Bank.
