Montgomery recovering
felt absolutely terrible when LSU lost Sam Montgomery to a season-ending injury against Tennessee last year.
Not just because of the effect it had on the LSU team, but Montgomery was considered one of top freshmen on a team filled with talented freshmen.
The Tiger starting defensive missed the rest of the season with torn ligaments in his right knee.
Montgomery seems to have recovered well and big things are expected from him this season.
It's a shame to see a player work so hard during the offseason and then it all comes crashing down on one play.
