Bars cited for underage drinking
Two bars have been cited following an investigation after the death of a Winnsboro teenager whose blood alcohol level was over eight times the legal limit when he was killed in an early morning, one-vehicle accident on June 26.
The Boondocks in Tensas Parish, formerly known as Cuz's Place, and Johnny's Lounge in Winnsboro, have been issued administrative violations by the Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control (ATC) after an investigation revealed that the teen and four other teenagers were allegedly in possession of alcoholic beverages while at the bars.For the full story, subscribe to the The Franklin Sun's NEW E-Edition! |
