Board repositions certified teachers
Several parish teachers were notified recently that budget shortfalls had forced the Franklin Parish School Board to make cuts to faculty and staff.
As of Monday, all of the certified teachers cut in the lay-off process have been repositioned within the system.
That was the word from board president Eddie Bryan Monday evening during the board's regular meeting.
