National All-Star team makes bid for world championship
The wait is finally over for the Winnsboro Nationals.
The Nationals are a local 7-8 year-old All-Star baseball team about to embark on their own championship journey.
The team leaves Friday to travel to Cleveland, Miss., for the Dixie Youth 7-8 year-old World Series.
Some of the best teams from across the southern United States will be in Cleveland to vie for the World Series Championship this weekend.
