Annual rodeo dedicated in memory of Davis'
The annual Deep South PRCA Rodeo begins its three-day run at the arena on Loop Road, Aug. 4-6, beginning at 8 p.m. nightly.
The 54th annual event will be dedicated to the memory of Elaine and Peachy Davis of Winnsboro, lifetime charter members of the rodeo committee.
"We are proud to dedicate this year's rodeo to Peachy and Elaine," said Jeff Moore, rodeo committee president. "They were instrumental in bringing the rodeo to Franklin Parish and they will be missed in the rodeo community."For the full story, subscribe to the The Franklin Sun's NEW E-Edition! |
