Norwood named Sun editor
 Katie Norwood has been named editor of The Franklin Sun.
A lifelong resident of Franklin Parish, Norwood has been employed with The Sun for the past four years as a writer, covering community events and governmental board meetings.
At The Sun, Norwood oversees the daily operations of the weekly publication as well as the newspaper's Web site. She has been recognized by the Louisiana Press Association for her community coverage.
