Free homebuyer workshop

The LaSalle Community Action Association, Inc., will host a free first-time homebuyer class at the Franklin CDC office in Winnsboro.

The workshop is held in two sessions on Wednesday, June 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. Participants must attend both sessions to receive a certificate.

The workshop will cover Housing 101 topics such as credit rights and repair and how to choose the right loan.
