NELPCO awards prizes at annual meeting
Prior to the annual business meeting of Northeast Louisiana Power Cooperative, Inc., the New Liberty Quartet entertained the crowd of about 400 with uplifting gospel music.
The Franklin Parish High School JROTC Honor Guard presented the colors, and the Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Immediately following the invocation by Rev. Leon Ward, Pastor of Sardis Baptist Church, Sheila S. Williamson, Manager introduced Mayor Jackie Johnson who welcomed the Co-op members to Winnsboro.
Ms. Williamson introduced the current board of directors.
