Louisiana Main Street offers grant opportunity
Façade grant applications from the Louisiana Main Street office in Baton Rouge are available at the Winnsboro Main Street Office for downtown buildings and/or business owners.
Façade restoration grants offer from $2500 for minor improvements (such as signage, awnings, paint) to $10,000 for major improvements to downtown structures.
These dollar-for-dollar matching grants are intended to reverse adverse alterations and to bring buildings back to their historic appearance.
