Story Archives: Priority is confusing

Priority is confusing
by Joey Martin - posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Now that was a strange weekend to say the least.

I'm trying to figure out what was the strangest part — the Dallas Mavericks defeating Miami in Miami to win the NBA Championship, the number of empty seats in Gainesville for the Florida-Mississippi State Super Regional or the Pat Murphy saga.

I guess when LeBron James writes his, "What did you do on your summer vacation?," he can just write "sulked" and leave it at that.

I bet Scottie Pippen wishes he could answer that question again about who is better, Michael Jordan or LeBron James?

Right now that's a no-brainer because James was a no-show for the Heat when it came to crunch time, which was when Jordan was at his best.

It was a strange series indeed because you just kept waiting for the Heat to go on that run and not look back, but even when they did have that run, Dirk Nowitzki and company would answer.

Cough, cough?

Don't make fun, super duo.

The only coughs were coming from you guys — from choking!

The right team won for the right reasons. And they handled winning with a lot of class.

Somehow I just can't picture that happening if the home team would have won those last two games.
