'Country Rebel' to headline Opry

Gene Stewart, 'The Country Rebel,' will be the featured entertainment at the Franklin Opry on Saturday, June 18.

Along with Stewart, the family-oriented program will also feature house band, the Gene King Band, including Gene King and bandmates Jesse Middleton, Mike Estep, Hallie Yarbrough, Nickie Ezell and Mark McClannahan.

A repeat performance of this show will be staged again on Friday, July 1 at the VFW Hall on La. Hwy. 80 in Monroe. The Ray Pace Band and Boyce Free will join Stewart for this one-night performance.
