Progressive Agriculture Safety Day Organizers of Franklin Parish's Progressive Agriculture Safety Day program believe that some things are best taught outside the classroom and it doesn't hurt to throw in a little fun.
To this end, fifth-graders from schools across the parish recently gathered at the Franklin Cotton Warehouse in Winnsboro for some hands-on experience to learn how to be safe on and off farms.
