First Blue-White game Saturday
posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
The Franklin Parish Patriot football team hopes to begin a new, exciting tradition for local football fans this week with the first Blue-White football game at Patriot Stadium this Saturday, May 21, at 6 p.m.

The scrimmage will be the last of the Spring football exercises. The Patriots have already practiced one week focusing on hitting and fundamentals.

"We want to find out who will and who will not engage on the football field," FPHS head coach Barry Sebren said. " If a player will not engage in blocking and tackling, he probably cannot play for us. We are intent on becoming a more physical football team."
