Waller-Singer racks up for Ponytails

Waller-Singer racked up two victories in Dixie Ponytail (11-12-year-old) Softball League last week, coming out on top against Winnsboro State Bank and Citizens Progressive.

On Monday, Waller-Singer was scoreless in the first inning, but would leave Winnsboro State Bank scoreless throughout the rest of the 7-1 victory.

Kassie Shipley pitched for the winning team, striking out eight batters and walking three. Hitting for Waller-Singer were Shipley, two runs; Jesalyn Jarrette, one run and two RBIs; Raelyn Johnson, one single and one run; Tyler Robinson, one run; Lindsey Blaylock, one single; Baylee Hutchinson, one run.

Grace Johnson gave Winnsboro State Bank it's lone run with Jessie Poland hitting a single. Anna Carter pitched for the losing team, striking out two and walking three.
