Proposed city budget highest ever Winnsboro's proposed budget for the 2011 fiscal year is the city's highest ever— $2.85 million—according to documents presented at the city council's regular meeting on Monday.
The budget must pass through the city's financial committee before being voted on next month. The budget will go into effect July 1, 2011. General fund revenues in 2010-2011 were roughly $2.3 million.
