Franklin Parish seniors will mark the end of an era and the beginning of a new one as they prepare for graduation ceremonies later this week.

Franklin Academy's graduation ceremony will be held Saturday, May 21 beginning at 2 p.m. at River of Life.

Representing the academy as Valdictorian is Rilyn Taylor, the son of Tonya and Elvis Taylor. Salutatorian is Ariel Gill, the daughter of Teresa Roberts and Baron Gill.

The 2011 graduating class of Franklin Parish High School will hold commencement exercises at Patriot Stadium on Friday, May 20, 2011 at 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
