Relay for Life to host fundraiser

Relay for Life of Franklin Parish, in association with the American Cancer Society, will host a fundraising event in downtown Winnsboro behind the Princess Theatre on Saturday, May 14.

Relay for Life is an evening event, beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday, to raise money for the fight against cancer. Its goal is to bring communities to celebrate survivors and remember loved ones.

This year, the Franklin Parish Relay for Life will be held in memory of Ginger Bruce and Jack Hammons, and in honor of Maddie Wright.
