Ride for Stacy: Benefit to aid mother of two
A poker run fundraiser to benefit Stacy Miller is planned for Saturday, May 14. The event will also feature live music, cash drawing and a live auction.
The poker run will begin and end at Gannaway's in Waverly. Bikes should be registered between 10 a.m. and 12 noon for the multi-stop run that will end with a party at 5 p.m. Registration for each driver is $20 and $10 per passenger.
Poker run T-shirts, lots of food and drink and prizes for first, second and third place hands will be included in the evening festivities.
Miller is a Start resident and mother of two recently diagnosed with cancer. All proceeds from this event are dedicated to defray medical expenses associated with her treatment.
