The Franklin Parish Patriots saw their baseball season come to an end on Friday in the first round of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class 4A playoffs.

The Patriots, seeded 32nd, took the field at No. 1 Tioga with high hopes.

Devin McManus took the loss on the mound as Tioga kept coming up with big hit after big hit.
Brandon Lacoy picked up his 10th win of the season pitching for the top-seeded Indians.
