Mangham looking ahead to next year

Brandon Bourgeois of John Curtis hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the Patriots a 5-4 win over Mangham Thursday in a Class 2A first round playoff game in New Orleans.

"We lost that game in the second, fourth and fifth innings" said Mangham coach Scott Wilcher.

Mangham jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first and increased that lead to 3-0 in the second inning.
