Parish officials receive radio upgrade Parish law enforcement and emergency personnel will go live with new updated radio equipment on Monday, May 9, according to officials.
Funds granted by a provision to strengthen the interoperability of emergency communication through the Office of Homeland Security, have enabled city and parish officials to upgrade radio equipment to the 700 megahertz band.
