Hanna elected to LPA board Sam Hanna Jr., publisher of The Ouachita Citizen in West Monroe, has been elected to the board of directors of the Louisiana Press Association.
Hanna, 41, also serves in an editorial and management capacity with the Concordia Sentinel and The Franklin Sun. The three newspapers are owned and operated by the Hanna family.
Hanna's election to the LPA board occurred this past weekend at the association's 131st annual convention. The convention was held at Paragon Casino and Resort in Marksville.
The Concordia Sentinel, The Franklin Sun and The Ouachita Citizen are members of the LPA.
