The Delhi Charter School Gators baseball team will wrap up the regular season on Friday, April 22 when they visit the LaSalle High School at 4 p.m and then the Jena Giants on Monday at 5 p.m.

DCS will be intently watching other district races from across the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class 1A landscape this week. DCS currently ranks No. 35 in the unofficial power rankings.

The top 32 teams will earn a playoff berth next week.

The Gators saw their playoff chances diminish greatly with three straight losses to Cedar Creek School this past week.

In Delhi on Thursday, the Cougars came charging out of the gate on their way to a 16-2 five inning victory.
