Story Archives: Tech Bulldogs in San Jose

Tech Bulldogs in San Jose
by Cody Futrell - posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
The Louisiana Tech University Bulldogs get back on the baseball field on Thursday, April 21 when they begin a four-game series at San Jose State University in San Jose, Calif.

The lost two straight in their series against Hawaii before bouncing back with a 3-0 victory on Sunday.

Starting pitcher Mike Jefferson pitched eight scoreless innings to keep the Rainbow Warriors off balance offensively.

The Bulldog offense seemed to have new life as well against Hawaii.

Featuring a new-look lineup, Will Alvis and Kyle Roliard drew a pair of walks against Connor Little who then hit Mark Threlkeld to load the bases to start the game. On a 0-1 pitch, Williams drove in Alvis and Roliard with a two-run single through the left side. With two outs, Tech added a run as Threlkeld scored on a wild pitch.
