The Franklin Parish Patriots (11-8-1, 4-2 in District 3-4A) are back on the baseball field Thursday when they host the Neville Tigers (9-14, 2-4) at 6 p.m. at Dr. Roger Leonard Field at FPHS.

The Patriots are coming off a three-game district series sweep of the Wossman Wildcats last weekend. FPHS blanked Wossman in all three games.

The Patriots took game one and two of the series by a count of 15-0 and won the final game on Saturday by a score of 20-0.

In the final game of the series, FPHS put on a hitting clinic with 20 runs off of 12 hits. The Patriots also added five stolen bases to the mix.
