Concert held to benefit Baskin Student

Maddie Wright, a fourth grade student at Baskin elementary is in treatment at St. Jude's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee for AML (acute leukemia).

Baskin School and community held a music concert with all proceeds dedicated to the Adam and Mandy Wright family to help defray expenses while Maddie is in treatment.

Special featured entertainment before a packed "sell out" crowd was Lainey Wilson as Hannah Montana and Dustin Stein as Justin Bieber. Other local talent included: Ashton McKinley, Kylie Pitman, Maranda Volentine, Regan Arender, Jessie Waller, and Nate Roberts. Nate entertained with Christian Rap which was a hit with students and adults alike. Jairell Henry, a fourth grader performed a rap and shared the stage spotlight with Justin Bieber.
