Taylor steers toward championships
Katie Taylor, 14, of Wisner, had another great year cattle-showing.
At the Desoto Showdown, Taylor won champion market steer with "Jack" and again at the Red River Showdown in Coshatta with "Rambo." She also won champion showman at the Red River Showdown and reserve champion commercial heifer with "Tinkerbell."
On the local front, Taylor won reserve champion market steer with Jack at the 2011 AgExpo held at the Ike Hamilton Expo Center in West Monroe.
