Citizens Progressive Bank announces promotions in key positions
In their regularly-scheduled meeting on January 14, 2011, the Board of Directors of Citizens Progressive Bank announced that T.A. Roberts, Jr., was promoted to Chairman of the Board of Directors. Also promoted were Dr. Chris Sullivan to Vice Chairman while Patricia Wyant was named Senior Vice President.
A local business leader, Roberts has served on bank Boards for two decades. Bank President Gary Sanford noted "Mr. Roberts has enjoyed a long legacy of leadership in the local business community. Citizens Progressive Bank will benefit from his strategic thinking as Chairman of the Board."
Dr. Sullivan, a resident of Winnsboro and a practicing veterinarian, joined the bank's Board three years ago. Sanford said the bank's solid growth in the Winnsboro area was "due in large part to Dr. Sullivan's efforts and knowledge of the community.
