Movie night slated at Princess
posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
Anyone wanting a night out at the movies on Friday, March 25, won't have to travel outside the parish. That's the date set for the showing of "Raiders of the Lost Ark,"

an action-adventure film featuring Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones. Showtime is 7 p.m. Admission will be just $5 and movie-goers will find popcorn and soft drinks available to add to the traditional experience.

The film is the first of what will hopefully become a motion picture series offered by the theatre, according to executive director Gene Thompson.

"The movie has a bit of everything, action, humor and even romance," Thompson said, "so the program committee thought it would be a good one to test the waters regarding the public's reception of the idea."
