WE to host annual academic court
This year Winnsboro Elementary will be having a parade to motivate students before they begin taking the LEAP and I-LEAP. Forty seven students have been selected as a contestant for Mr. or Miss Leap (4th Grade) and Mr. and Miss I-Leap (3rd and 5th Grade.)
In order to be a contestant, each child has maintained a 3.0 GPA and above throughout the school year and has had a minimum of two referrals to the office. All participants will ride in this year's WES Academic parade to be held on April 8, 2011.
The winners of each competition will be announced and ride in a separate vehicle.
