Funeral services for Mr. William "Bill" Bixler, 85, were held Thursday at New Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Basco and Jerry Goodman officiating.
Interment followed at New Zion Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home Winnsboro.
Mr. Bixler was born on March 21, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio and passed from this life on Tuesday, March 8, 2010 at Plantation Manor Nursing Center after an extended illness.
