Nick Kaufman, a 16 year-old from Winnsboro, has earned the distinction as No. 1 Legends racer in Louisiana.

This year, Kaufman finished 12 races on the now-closed Monroe Motor Speedway.

He won four of those races, finished second three times, finished third four times and finished seventh once.
