Mangham High went 3-1 at its own baseball tournament last week, posting wins over Vidalia, Franklin Parish and Rayville, while falling to LaSalle.

The Dragons defeated Vidalia 19-2 Thursday and Franklin Parish 4-1 on Friday.

The Dragons fell to LaSalle 14-2 Saturday morning, but finished with a 6-3 win over Rayville.
"I was pleased," said Mangham coach Scott Wilcher.

"Anytime you win three of four games, you have to be happy, although I was disappointed with how we approached the LaSalle game. We just did not come out ready to play."

Pitching for the Dragons were Nathan Altman, Josh Duncan, Cole Wilson and Nathan Aultman.

"We've got four pretty good arms now, but we need to find a couple of more," Wilcher said.
