Franklin Academy defeated Tallulah 18-5 Tuesday as Taylor Gilley, Hunter Jones and Brady Moroni had two hits each.

Ethan Vick picked up the win, allowing two earned runs. Moroni got the save.
"We played a lot better," said Frankiln coach Chris Sullivan. "Ethan gave us five strong innings."

Franklin lost two games in its own tournament, falling to Claiborne 14-4 before losing to Cenla 9-5.

"We played like a young team," Sullivan said.
