Franklin Parish Black Achievers introduced their Royal Court during their Winter Wonderland Talent Extravaganza held on Feb. 11.

"This year has been our biggest Royal Court ever and we expect the show to continue and grow," said FPBAA member Debrorah Davison. "The annual fundraiser is an opportunity to give back to the community."

All proceeds from the event are dedicated to activities such as the Black Extravaganza Parade and the FPBAA scholarship fund. This year, four-$500 scholarships will be awarded to qualifying parish seniors. Continue to read the Franklin Sun for application deadlines.
